The Spires
2014-2017 SXSW, Lightning in a Bottle, Sonic Bloom, Art Outside, Symbiosis, Euphoria Festival, Escape From WonderlandThe Spires are an interactive sculpture consisting of 5 15” towers, and a platform interactivity interface that allows users to interact with LED animations in the towers using body movement. The piece uses a Kinect to sense movement, and interfaces to individually addressable LEDs using Touch Designer. This piece traveled all over the U.S. to major festivals for 2 seasons, including Lightning in a Bottle, SXSW, Symbiosis, Sonic Bloom, Escape From Wonderland, and more.
